Storm Approaching

On one side the dark clouds were building fast. Had a great ride on the dirt roads.

There were a few trails passable with little to no mud. It was nice to ride the trails versus the same stretch of pavement.

This direction the sky was clear for awhile with the sun shinning bright.

This is what makes dress appropriately for the weather very tricky. The weather report was 30 and wind at 6mph when I left and when I arrived it was more like 40. I immediately began changing gloves and unzipping the wind jersey to avoid over sweating. Over sweating can be a deal breaker when climbing up hills and zooming down fast. I seemed to do the trick for today.

On the way home the clouds surrounded the sun and soon covered.  The winds picked up to a steady 20 mph with gusts higher. The snow will soon fall.
